Frequently asked questions

What to know before collecting a chapter.

What is a chapter?

Each DULBE creation is a chapter: a name, a story, a date and a numbered edition. When the edition is complete, the chapter is archived and is never produced again.

Do you really never remake a sold-out perfume?

Never. No re-editions, no reformulations, no comebacks. The proof is public: every sold-out creation remains on display in the Archive with its full record. If we promised scarcity and broke that promise, everything else would lose its value.

How many bottles exist of each chapter?

Five hundred, numbered one by one, as a 100 ml extrait de parfum. Each chapter's page shows how many have already been collected.

What does the numbering mean?

Every bottle carries its edition number — 37/500, for example — like an artist's original print. That number stays with it forever: it marks its exact place within the edition.

What is the Archive?

The permanent register of every creation. Sold-out chapters are not hidden: they are displayed with their story, year and edition. Nothing there can be acquired; everything there is remembered.

What is The Circle?

Our private circle of collectors. It is not a list you join: you enter by collecting a first bottle. Inside: early access to upcoming chapters, the creative process, and what is never shown in public. More about The Circle.

What concentration are the perfumes?

We work exclusively with extrait de parfum, the most concentrated and longest-lasting form of the craft. We explain what it means in the Journal.

Do you ship, and do you accept returns?

Every bottle travels in packaging designed to protect it as what it is. Exact times and costs are shown at checkout, following our shipping policy. Returns follow the refund policy: 14 calendar days with the seal intact.
